As time passes by, technology is becoming more and more entwined in our lives, any one from a teenager to your grandpa would have the latest in technology- would it be an iPad or a Blackberry, a Kindle to catch up on their reading or a netbook to do your business on: Yes, technology is taking over our lives. Where I do not approve of a complete digital lifestyle as it is killing face to face human interaction, one cannot help but put one’s fashionable foot forward.
All the major designers have taken note be it high street or luxury- they’ve all discovered there’s a huge demographic of technology lovers who still want to put their gadgets in the prettiest and “raddest” bag or pouch. It’s a get-noticed culture we’ve got and these designers are fuelling it. Don’t think I’m complaining for one second. In fact, I love it. The choice is immense! It caters to the style needs of the conservative to anyone who’s following the Spring Summer trend of nudes, pastels and bright colours. Fashion is not about clothes and shoes anymore!
There are Kindle cases by Diane von Furstenberg, technology cases (for iPhones, Blackberrys, Kindles, Laptops and iPads) by the likes of Bottega Veneta, Gucci, Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, Jimmy Choo, Smythson, Mulberry and the list goes on and on and on!
When I bought my iPhone, I looked every where for a case that would not only protect my baby (yes! it’s my baby and I’m sad!) but make it look even cooler! So I searched the internet, stores and what not till I found the perfect accessories. The best website I have found is Net-a-Porter and I found a gorgeous Chloe’ leather pouch.
You have designers from Valentino to Jimmy Choo, Prada to Gucci, Marc Jacobs to Michael Kors. You name the designer and they’ve got the accessory for you. I decided to make some collages for you guys (because I have ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD,not!). You’ve got the snake print bags by Marc Jacobs, the bling glitter bag for your iPad by Jimmy Choo and the grey Valentino iPhone 4 pouch (which will be my next purchase) among others.
